I’m Amanda Riley, Director of WeddingBox Paris. After more than twenty years in Hollywood costume design shaping visual storytelling for film, I bring a cinematic sensibility for beauty, atmosphere, and detail to each wedding I create in Paris.

Having spent much of my career crafting visual worlds through costume and design, I developed a deep appreciation for how thoughtful details, setting, and emotion come together to create something truly memorable. Today I bring that same perspective to weddings, curating celebrations that feel intimate, refined, and deeply personal.

My role is to thoughtfully guide the experience so couples can remain fully present while every detail unfolds with ease and elegance, allowing the day to feel as natural and beautiful as the love being celebrated.

— Location scouting and permit coordination for your ceremony spot
— Officiant liaison, including symbolic or legally recognized ceremonies depending on your needs
— Curated small-vendor team: photographer, florist, hair & makeup, as needed
— A simple day-of timeline so your few hours in Paris run smoothly
— On-the-day support so you can be fully present, not managing logistics

Derek MacDonald is an award-winning event producer and creative director with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering high-end weddings and large-scale events. Originally from Canada, he built his career producing bespoke celebrations for private clients and international brands, earning a reputation for refined, detail-driven experiences that feel both seamless and deeply personal.

His work has been featured in leading publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, The Globe & Mail, WedLuxe, and HELLO!, alongside regular television appearances and serving as spokesperson for major bridal showcases. Known for his calm command of complex productions and elevated design sensibility, Derek brings a level of experience, discretion and emotional depth that defines truly exceptional events.

Now based in Paris, Derek brings a refined, cross-cultural perspective to wedding planning, combining North American precision with a European sensibility to create elevated, design-forward celebrations across France.
